Girls Incorporated of Lowell provides programs to help all girls develop the skills and tools for becoming women who are strong, smart, and bold.
We provide programs for girls after school, during the summer and school vacations. We offer classes to teach girls creative pursuits, selfreliance and critical thinking. We offer mentoring to teach girls in our community that they have options for their futures.
Click here for details about our Summer Program.
We offer our members activities both for mixed ages and for limited age groups, to give girls both the opportunity to learn and share with older and younger children, and to have some special time to focus on activities and discussions with their peers. Our aim is to develop strong interpersonal skills between students while bolstering self-confidence and an awareness of the world around them.
Some of our age-specific programs include Junior Achievement (financial literacy), Operation SMART (science, math and relevant technology), Photovoice (research, literacy and photography), Be Bold (violence prevention), American Textile History Museum Threads of Learning and Pottery (creative arts) and Chicas Leyendo (latina inititaive literacy program). Look for these and other age-specific programs both in our class roster and during daily “Choice” activities.
Please see our Policies page for information regarding holiday closings, refund and cancellation policies and our communication expectations.
