Our Chefs Celebrate our Centennial:

Join us at our Girls Inc. of Greater Lowell Center at 220 Worthen Street to celebrate our next 100 years and enjoy a night of tasty treats.  Local premier chefs, including Patrick Bianco of Bianco’s Catering, Steve Beauvais of Two Chefs Are Better Than One, Scott Plath of Cobblestones/ Moonstones, and Michael Lenzi of Lenzi’s Catering, will tempt your taste buds in this Girls Inc. test kitchen with their innovative seasonal creations.  Be the first to enjoy this progressive dinner of these chef inspired treats.

We will also have beer tastings from Merrimack Ales of Lowell MA.  As well as wine tastings, free raffles, and tours of our educational Center.  Invitations are $100 per person and this event will be limited to the first 100 people that respond.  Please click here to purchase your invitations with a credit card online to this uniquely delicious night! Girls Inc. will be closed whenever Lowell Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather and at other times if it is determined by the executive staff that opening for activities would pose a danger to the members or staff. Check Channel 5 news on television or online, Channels 4 and 7 news online only or the Girls Incorporated Facebook page (Girls Incorporated of Lowell) for closings.

Girls Inc. also offers special events and activities throughout the school year. Our special programming includes: Family Fun Nights — evening activities such as cooking and dance that all family members enjoy together; holiday parties for Halloween, winter holidays and Arbor Day; and Take Our Daughters to Work Day — career shadowing for our older girls with career women in the community.

Many more special events become available during the year, so keep your eyes and ears out for news of new opportunities, such as free tickets to sports events, volunteer projects like Winterfest and Acre Cleanup Day, art and writing contests, construction projects and special field trips!


School Vacation Programs:

Girls Incorporated will offer a full day program during school vacation weeks. The program will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with early drop-off starting at 7:30 a.m. Activities include local field trips, computer time, arts and crafts, cooking, games and gym activities. Because space is limited, sign-ups are on a first come – first served basis. The weekly rate is based on a sliding scale. All fees are nonrefundable and are due in advance.
